The next meeting will take place at our new location - The Stokers Arms in Didsbury. The book chosen for discussion is The Lies of Locke Lamora - Scott Lynch
If you enjoy talking about books over a quiet drink, then please join us — new members are very welcome. We normally meet at the Fletcher Moss on William Street in Didsbury around 8 pm but whilst the contagion lasts and we REMAIN INDOORS we'll become a virtual bookgroup and meet online.
Drop us a line on the Contact Us form and we'll add you to our mailing list and send you invitations to our online meetings. We always reply, so if you don't hear from us please check your spam folder. There's a meeting every fortnight, but you don't have to come to them all. It's dead simple; choose a book you like the sound of, read it (or even part of it) beforehand and turn up* with a few ideas and money for beer / wine / flirtinis. It's all very informal, and we're quite a friendly bunch. We can usually be found on the table with the books and flirtinis.
Our reading list, past, present, and future, appears here and there's a shorter version of upcoming books here.

A really entertaining book; quite long, but enough twists to keep it entertaining throughout. AJP
Hey Andrew ! Just started it: looks prokising so far. How's life ?
Good thanks; no radical changes. Busy with the job at Lancaster but still coming to Mchr occasionally for MCFC. It's great to still have the group reading lists for inspiration. Hope you and all group friends are well. AJP
